Darío Feal

Graduated from the School of Fine Arts, he participated in several art exhibitions. After completing his studies in Arts, he entered the University of Buenos Aires, where he earned a degree in Image and Sound Designer.

From that moment on, he began to develop his professional career as an Art Director in advertising, with more than three hundred campaigns. In cinema, he directed the art of several Argentine feature films, such as Kóblic, for which his work was nominated for the Goya Awards. That same year, he designed the set and costumes for the play Equus, earning ACE Award nominations in both categories.

In parallel, he began teaching at various university institutions, and in 2016 he won the tenure competition for the Art Direction Chair at the University of Buenos Aires.

In 2020, he participated in two theatrical cycles at the Teatro Nacional Cervantes. That same year, the province of San Juan, Argentina, commissioned him to design the MHU (Museum of Urban History). In 2021, he worked in the United States as Art Director for a feature film shot in the state of Florida. In 2022, he created the set and costume design for the play Así de Simple, premiered at the Koubek Center, Miami. More recently, he completed his third U.S. feature film as Art Director.

He has also collaborated as an ambientador for Norwegian Cruise Line, developing environments for their audiovisual productions and advertising campaigns.

In 2023, he served as a Jury member at the IAFFM, and in 2024, he was part of the International Independent Film Festival of Santander (SANFICI).

That same year, he was selected for the Miami Dade College / Koubek Center Artist Residency Program, and in 2025 he received the Broward County Artist Support Grant to carry out his installation project Imitation of Life, scheduled to be realized during 2026.

He is currently developing the scenic design for a production by Miami New Drama, scheduled to premiere in 2026.

He continues to alternate his academic work with his professional career, expanding his practice across theater, film, advertising, and the visual arts.
